The Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship

The Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship is a 12-credit-hour program that can be completed in as few as two semesters (taking 6 credit hours per semester) or up to four semesters (taking 3 credit hours per semester). The program is designed for curious, resilient self-starters who want to create better outcomes for their own startup or for companies where they work. The certificate program offers three tracks from which to choose:


General — for individuals seeking to develop, launch and scale startup ventures in any industry or for those seeking to lead innovation and entrepreneurial initiatives in organizations of any size


Social — for individuals interested in developing, launching and scaling non-profit or community-based ventures or those seeking leadership or change-agent roles in non-profit or community-based organizations


Technology — for individuals seeking to develop, launch and scale technology-based ventures or ventures supported by technology-based operations or for those seeking leadership or change-agent roles in technology-based organizations of all sizes

Throughout the program, students will learn practical, real-world skills including pitching, sales, finance, networking, leading, branding, design thinking, system thinking and change management.
