How To Schedule An Appointment

Academic advising is available to students in the form of in-person and over the phone appointments. There are three ways in which a student can schedule an appointment: by phone, by MyConnect/Starfish, or by walking into the office. Most appointments last approximately 30 minutes. Prospective students, particularly those from institutions outside the United States, may need additional time.

All new students are required to make an appointment prior to registration.

How To Schedule An Appointment (for current students)

Starfish is the most convenient way to schedule an advising appointment. You can access Starfish in MyGateway. Log into MyGateway using your SSO ID & password. After you log into MyGateway click the Students tab. Schedule an 'Advising Appointment' is located in Academic Planning Tools.

How To Schedule an Appointment (for Prospective Students)

If you are a prospective student or do not have a SSO ID please contact the Graduate Business Office at (314) 516-5885 for assistance. Thank you!

 Walk-Ins:

Walk-ins are a convenient way for current students to receive answers to general questions.

Walk-ins are on a first-come, first-served basis. Current students are encouraged to schedule appointments to discuss specific situations regarding their degree programs.

Prospective students often have more detailed questions, so they should schedule an appointment to ensure that an advisor is available to address them fully.

We look forward to talking to you soon!!
