Tom EyssellLetter From The Associate Dean - Director of UMSL Graduate Studies

In my role as the UMSL College of Business Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Studies, I am proud to oversee business graduate programs at the University of Missouri-St. Louis - the region's largest public research university, and the largest AACSB-accredited business school in the region. We are the first, and only public, business school in the St. Louis area to attain dual AACSB accreditation in both Business and Accounting! Fewer than 5% of the Business schools worldwide hold this prestigious level of accreditation.

With respect to programs, we offer three types of MBAs: the Flex MBA, for those who wish to create a customized program with one of 9 possible emphasis areas, the Professional MBA (PMBA), for those who seek an accelerated, Internet-enhanced weekend program, and the International MBA (IMBA), for those who wish to study abroad.

We also offer highly-regarded Master's programs in Accounting (MAcc) and Information Systems (MSIS), a Ph.D. in Business Administration, and numerous graduate certificates. And, in Spring, 2018 we will launch St. Louis' first and only AACSB-accredited doctorate for working professionals-the UMSL Doctor of Business Administration (DBA)!

Bottom line: As the old saying goes, "If you can't find it here, you probably don't need it!"

In a more serious vein, our faculty are highly-qualified teachers and researchers who hold terminal degrees from some of the world's most prestigious academic institutions. They are actively engaged in cutting-edge academic research and real-world consulting. In short, you will learn from scholars who are experts in their chosen fields.

Our combination of widely varied programs, high quality faculty, and reasonable cost make the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Business the best choice in the region! Why look anywhere else?

Sincerely,

Thomas H. Eyssell, Ph.D., CSA
Associate Dean and Director of Graduate Studies
